Meet the Founder
At the heart of Uplift lies Greg Krueger. Throughout his entrepreneurial journey, Greg discovered immense satisfaction in transforming people’s perspectives. Uplift Transport emerged from his vision to enrich the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they continue to lead fulfilling and vibrant lives.
Greg’s personal experiences, including witnessing his mother-in-law and father-in-law endure multiple strokes, inspired him to revolutionize the transportation industry. Recognizing the shortcomings of existing options—expensive ambulances and unreliable county transportation—Greg envisioned a better way to serve the senior and disabled community. Uplift Transport was born from the belief that personalized care and attention are paramount. We prioritize the essentials: punctuality, cleanliness, comfort, and compassionate drivers providing a door-through-door service tailored to your needs. Our purpose is to cultivate enduring relationships and leave every individual we encounter feeling “INSPIRED!”
Greg Krueger, the founder of Uplift Transport, boasts an impressive background as an 8-year Army Veteran Medic, where he served as a Non-Commissioned Officer overseeing a medical unit. Remarkably, before the age of 19, Greg spearheaded the construction of the 452nd Combat Support Hospital (CSH) and subsequently led the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) room once the CSH was completed. Greg has injected a fresh approach into the transport industry, grounded in the fundamental principle of providing dignified, compassionate, and immediate transportation for those unable to transport themselves. Under his leadership, Uplift Transport has thrived, characterized by extraordinary customer service, visionary ownership, adaptability to opportunities, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Beyond his business endeavors, Greg is an authentic individual driven by a profound passion and purpose that permeates all aspects of his life. As a veteran dedicated to serving his community, Greg actively volunteers in various capacities related to veterans’ affairs. He also plays a significant role in the senior services sector, contributing his expertise to organizations such as the California Assisted Living Association (CALA), the Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) Association, the National Placement and Referral Alliance (NPRA), and the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC). Additionally, Greg serves as a consultant for Non-Emergency Medical Transport litigation cases.
Greg’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence have not gone unnoticed. Within a remarkable 10-month period after launching Uplift Transport, the company was honored as the “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Greater Irvine Chamber. Subsequently, Greg and his company received recognition as the “Veteran Business Entrepreneur of The Year” at the Nixon Presidential Library. The Orange County Business Journal also highlighted Greg’s achievements for his “Excellence in Entrepreneurship.” Greg’s leadership and inspirational impact extend beyond his business achievements, making him a respected figure in both individual and business communities alike.
