I just used Uplift to transport my 96 year old dad home from the hospital.  He is bedridden and needed a gurney rather than wheelchair. Greg and the team at Uplift are GREAT!  I arranged for transport for my father through them for his medical appointments at UCI and USC and they were so responsive, attentive and timely! We needed a wheelchair transport service on short notice for a very early Monday morning appointment (4:45am) that my dad couldn't miss. It was already Sunday night, and after calling around Uplift Transport was the only one available and up to the task, with Greg himself (the owner) PERSONALLY oversaw the whole thing: from making sure we have everything on our end (important for us, since it was our first time using this kind of service), showing up early, making sure the wheelchair is secure in the van, and in constant communication with my dad to make sure he is comfortable and knows what's going on every step of the way.

On the return trip, Greg also showed up on time, took charge right away from inside the two facilities (departure and destination), giving us a true VIP door to door service, with attention to detail (such as making sure my dad's long blanket doesn't get in the way of the wheels, etc.) and with such care that my dad never experienced any jerky or sudden movement.

Communication and expectation is very clear and easy, making me feeling extremely comfortable with Greg.  Therefore, I would definitely think of Uplift Transport the next time we need a wheelchair transport service.  (By the way, they also do gurney transport). Uplift is an excellent choice if you are faced with the challenge of transporting an injured friend or relative. My grandmother fell while visiting a friend and was admitted to the hospital in Mission Viejo. Upon discharge, I had to figure out how to comfortably and safely get her back to Santa Barbara. Enter Greg and his wonderful team! In addition to answering my endless questions, Greg spoke directly with hospital staff to ensure all necessary logistics were nailed down and all possible contingencies were addressed. The aide that accompanied my grandmother made sure all her needs were met during the 3+ hour drive. Awesome Service! I was working as volunteer camp nurse at a camp in the San Bernardino mountains and we had a camper that needed to get down the mountain midweek, but we had no way to move her heavy electric wheelchair (we provide bus service on Saturdays).

I found the Uplift Transport service online and reached out to them at 5pm on a Weds. The owner, Greg, picked up on the first ring and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He walked us through the best options and we got a plan together.

He was able to accommodate us with after-hours service within 4 hours of our request, delivering our camper safely down the hill. I don’t know what we would have done without him!!! 10/10 Definitely recommend, will use again
